Missing Lebowski Fest again this year? Not to worry! Eat|See|Hear is putting on its own weekly music/movie celebration fest of sorts with a little help from LA Music Blog, and it's way more accessible than the fanatical Louisville, Kentucky event.
On May 28th, Santa Monica-based band Opus Orange will bring their spiraling indie-pop tunes to the Autry Museum to get audiences ramped up before a screening of the iconic Coen Brothers film The Big Lebowski.
Frontman Paul Bessenbacher (PB) formed Opus Orange in 2010, and the six-piece act joins the modern trend of not pigeonholing themselves into one particular genre or mood, incorporating elements from R&B to synth pop, while still staying true to a sort of blissed-out indie sensibility.
Opus Orange's 2016 LP, Anatomic, is more electronically influenced than their more orchestral 2014 EP Balance, but they've had time to evolve, putting out two EPs, a motion picture soundtrack, and another LP in the interim.
We have five pairs of passes to give away to Saturday evening's event, which features your favorite food trucks, a hilarious cult classic, and a full live set from the burgeoning indie outfit.
